Nestled in the breezy and lush coastal mountains of your mind, Leisureville is a paradise where relaxation is inescapable. The ultimate retirement community, it’s where the fatally optimistic go to spend the rest of their days. Have you been diagnosed with terminal chillness? Come visit for an afternoon, a weekend, or just bring the cats and dogs, and move on in. Leisureville is an indie soul / hip-hop group formed in Asheville, NC. The band sparked up in 2019 after a 48-hr jam session led Fitz to move from Atlanta to Asheville, where Kyle and Fitz created The Sprout House Studios (Leisureville’s production studio) and the duo began collaborating full time. Their first release “Speak”, a collaboration with Asheville producer Numatik, set the tone on the heavy bedroom pop vibes. Shortly after followed their debut EP “Welcome To”, produced by Patrick Doyle and released by the indie pop label Bonfire Records. In the summer of 2021 the duo made the leap from bedroom producers to building a full band including three other members Ted Marks (drums), Charlie Evans (keyboard), and Connor Golden (Linnstrument), where they have played shows alongside Little Stranger, Artrikal Sound System, Damn Skippy, and many more.
